So far, there is no confirmation on whether there will be a Facebook ban, Instagram ban or Twitter ban in India. However, sources have revealed the Centre is not happy with the lackadaisical response from these platforms and has warned that failure to comply with the rules would lead to the companies losing their status and protection as Intermediaries.
