You might have used many different AIs for your work or just for fun, whatever was the use, you interacted with different AI models, some generate images, some text, some both. And if we dive deeper, AI in disease detection, Finance etc, we can think about number of usage, but all these are specific to one or two tasks only.

But when we think of AI, we “generally” think of a “Human like Machine” with extra loaded features! But is Chat gpt, Dall-E, Gemini and other tons of different Narrow AIs doing that?”
Could they solve complex problems as well as do all the tasks a human could do, like driving cars, repairing machine, medical diagnosis etc?

Wait, I know you are thinking that… A human also could not do all these being one!
Yes, your thought is right, but do we need only Human like? if yes then what’s the need????!!!!

For everything exists, there exists utopia!

For human society, we have an ideal society, for children, we have one “Sharma ji ka Beta”!

So for every AI model, that Sharma ji ka Beta is “AGI” or “Artificial General Intelligence 🧠”

As the name suggests, AGI is meant to represent all human intelligence, able to learn and do anything, from understanding emotions to solving complex problems. While most AI models focus on one specific task, AGI is the ideal system that can manage everything, being flexible and adaptable in any area.

In different terms, All AI models to be developed must tend towards AGI, If they can’t, they will not be contributing directly to the advancement of AI, the advancement we think today.

But if you already know something about AGI, you might not be totally agree with my statement of saying it utopia.
Let me agree with you for some time, many AI leaders, CEOs use the term AGI, reporters couldn’t feel complete without asking about AGI, when we will be there and all and all… So yes, they all talk to achieve it! but to be real, let me agree with my point again, its completely an utopia, and who says we can’t achieve that??
