AI… have you ever thought how AI feels?? Does it feel?? Do AI know they exist?!!

So… Welcome to the Aviral Code Blogs!!

So don’t worry about the topic, you are going to have a cake walk over it! And I promise you will understand everything with 0 technical knowledge 😉

So lets begin with the most basic form of Device, which is a calculator. Do you think that they know their existence?

Absolutely NO!

What if I say YES?!

Yes.. if so, I am out of my mind 😂

Mind…..

Do calculator have Mind?

Do they mind if you ask 1/0 ?

Answer is up to you…

But lets come back on the topic with serious note, calculators are just a dumb box with pre written solutions! Yes they are not fed by the particular output of some particular input, but yes they are just coded to do so and they just take input and pass it through some algorithms and give you answer. As simple as that!

Do they know what they are doing? Never. Do they judge you for using them for basic calculations like 5+7 during exams when you could not believe on your own mind sometimes? 😆

But AI is not simple as calculator but still they work on 0s and 1s!

Yes you heard right, those Neural Networks and Hi-Fi Algorithms still works on 010101010101!!!

So, they are still a software and are totally unaware of themselves just as your phone or TV!

But when you chat with GPT, it feels like you are talking to a human. And its astonishing that it knows you very much just like a friend after a long use.

So the answer is simple, AI is still a DUMB computer that just gives you some output based on your input.

You might think, then what is changed? Why AI is so hyped?!?!

The answer lies in the process of giving output. Again, I promise that my blog will never disappoint my non technical friends! ☺

Your PC always do the task it supposed to do, but when you ask Chat GPT to suggest some good movies, does it gives you a specific list of movies? But if I write some python code to select 10 random movie names from a list of thousand, it will give you ANY 10 movies. On the other hand, AI will analyze your past data, current trend then might suggest you 2, 3, 10 or 15 movies! and what make it exiting is that it was never coded to select number of movies to be suggested randomly from [2,3,10,15] or even any other number, it will analyze the type of request and answer accordingly which a computer can never do!

One wise man is saying,

“exact the coding, more and efficient the data, better the Ai“

Sorry sorry it was getting boring, but needed… 😒… But I will try to write a blog to explain more about how AI works… without making it boring😄

So lets come on the thing that made you to come here, Chitti.

So, what was chitti? We don’t know exactly but as portrayed, it could feel, understand and relate with human emotions!

But what about red and blue chip that made it behave like a gentleman and villain?

From here we can conclude that it was a code driven robot!

So for the technology which exists today, it was coded to simulate like it could feel, understand and relate with human emotions!

Yes yes, that was not just a pre programmed robot but still was under control of type of data fed, and tries to simulate human like behavior!

So, the technology exists today can try to make Chitti, but the image portrayed was extraordinary technology which could feel its existence and don’t only behave like but was human.

So, while we’re far from building a Chitti, who knows where AI will take us in the future?

I know I might have simplified a few things here and there, but hey, the goal was to make this easier to understand, not turn it into a tech journal!
