Hello everyone, we all know how helpful this marvel of engineering, the S-400 air defense system is for India in this situation. How is let us sleep without fear of any attack from Pakistan, N numbers of missiles, drone, Jets rushed over us but this Big Buddy was there to protect us.
Here I am not going to discuss what is going on and all, Lets discuss the title,
What comes to your mind when you think of Engineering? is it Degree? Job? Industry? or something else?
We live in an age where the IT industry often steals the spotlight. Coding bootcamps, AI tools, app startups… it’s all flashy, fast, and heavily funded.
But Engineering isn’t just a Degree to get a fancy package or not something only about Coding, Programming or development. It’s what our ancestors used to do centuries before the existence of Computers!
Similarly, the S-400 isn’t just a cool headline or a geopolitical chess move. Its a testimony of hardcore physics, math and engineering.
They say, “Where will I use calculus in real life?” or for physics, “Kaha lagau Kirchhoff’s law?.”
So listen, Some people are using it to protect millions of us while we sleep.
The S-400 radar can track up to 300 targets at once across 600 km and deal with 36 threats at once. That’s not only software magic, it’s electrical engineering, signal processing, math, absolutely Software and much more working together!
As someone who fine-tunes ML models, I aim for 95% accuracy, even 70% is considered Ideal. But the engineering we’re talking about here? It’s about life and death. Real-time. No bugs. No patches. Proudly this is what engineering is!
